1959 Chevrolet Biscayne 4 Door SOLD!!! SOLD!!! SOLD!!!
Exterior: Green w/ white top SOLD!!! SOLD!!! SOLD!!! Story: I learned how to drive in one of these in the early 70's. It was even the same color. It has 39K original miles! It looks wonderful. The original paint still gleams. The trim is sensational, the tinted glass is awsome, the trunk/floors and frame are perfect, the bumpers look like new. You just won't believe this car! Now the bad: The front seat cove is torn badly. It can easily be re-covered. There is rust around the head-lights (typical) and at the base of the fenders. All could easily be patched...or just leave it! The white is oxidized and is worn through. There is a shallow dent in the left wing. The dash pad is cracked, but still looks good. The good: It purrs like a kitten. It drives out like new. The 3 speed has the optional overdrive. All the lights work and the radio works! It even has front/rear speakers with control switch. It rolls on new bias ply tires. The rears are mud and snow. The headliner and back seat look great. The package tray is nice. The original hubcaps and wheels are on the car. The jack and a spare are in the trunk. This was a Nebraska farmer's car. We believe the high pH of the road dust preserved this car. It is unreal how well it looks as an original car. |
